Millions of adults suffer from depression in the United States daily. Among the US population, Mental Health America reports that 6 million men are affected by depression yearly, which often goes undiagnosed. Depression among men often goes untreated because men are less likely to go to the doctor, so they are less likely to seek mental health treatment than women are.
